MenuWorks Personal

Menu Program for MS-DOS, 1991

MenuWorks Personal Edition was a slimmed-down version of MenuWorks Advanced with a lower price point which was more in the range with the pricing for MenuWorks 2.1. This product was sold mostly in traditional computer stores such as Egghead, CompUSA and Best Buy.

Improvements over the orignal MenuWorks included better menu building (passwords, scripting, keystroke stuffing), an updated look with full mouse support and a graphical hard disk manager with features similar to todays' Windows Explorer.

While this product had a great run in retails stores for a bit, sales slowed with the introduction of Windows 3 and it was soon time to move on to other product areas.
